Hobart’s Blundstone Arena to be renamed NINJA Stadium

The home of Tasmanian cricket is getting a new name as Blundstone Arena will be renamed NINJA Stadium.

Cricket Tasmania has announced a four-year agreement with global kitchen and appliances company SharkNinja to rename Bellerive Oval.

The agreement includes a fifth-year option.

Cricket Tasmania CEO Dominic Baker said NINJA Stadium would be the “home of women’s sport” in Tasmania.

“Our love, ambition and passion for women’s sport are united and through this partnership we will continue to see women’s sport flourish in our state,” he said.

“SharkNinja will also be joining our Hurricanes WBBL and BBL playset as well as taking part in our stadiums.”
