Harris and Trump campaign events for October 23, 2024

Vice President Kamala Harris will return to Philadelphia on Wednesday as former President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign focuses on swing states in the South and Southwest.

Kamala Harris campaign events

Harris is scheduled to appear in Delaware County on Wednesday night for a CNN town hall event, less than two weeks before Election Day. The event will begin at 9:00 pm and will be broadcast live on CNN and online apps. The location of the town hall event had not been publicly announced as of early Tuesday afternoon.

Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, have at least two more campaign stops planned in the Philadelphia region next week. Walz is scheduled to return to the city on Friday, his first stop in Philadelphia since he was announced as Harris’ running mate this summer. Harris, meanwhile, will appear in town for a campaign event on Sunday, but further details were not immediately available.

On Wednesday, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will travel to Florida to speak at campaign events in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. And Walz will speak at a campaign reception in Louisville, Kentucky.

Events of Donald Trump’s election campaign

Trump will hold a pair of events in Georgia on Wednesday, starting with a Believers’ Faith and Ballot Town Hall in Zebulun at Christ Chapel. The former president plans to hold a rally Wednesday evening in Duluth, Georgia, at the Gas South Arena.

With Trump in Georgia, his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), will appear at several events in Nevada. Vance’s first appearance will be at Treasure Island in Las Vegas, where he will perform at a campaign event. After that, Vance is scheduled to travel to Reno, where he is expected to give a speech at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino.

As of Tuesday, neither Trump nor Vance had additional campaign appearances scheduled in Pennsylvania for the rest of the week. Trump campaigned across the state over the weekend, making appearances in Lancaster, Bucks County and Latrobe.
