Highlights from the Second SYNOD24 Assembly in Brisbane

Members of the Synod returned on October 11 and 12 for the second session of the Synod24, continuing the consideration of the resolutions of the Plenary Council begun at the first session in September. To provide insight into the Synod24 experience, we documented the reflections and sentiments of participants from the first day of the event. The responses demonstrate a deep sense of engagement and a collective commitment to meaningful dialogue, illustrating the rich and supportive environment that defined the early stages of the Synod’s work.

The final day of Synod24 has come to an end, but Brisbane’s synod journey has only just begun. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Participants expressed a deep sense of zeal, vitality and community spirit, which led to enriching conversations and a number of positive experiences.
