ALICE Family Assistance Plan

There are approximately 600,000 asset-constrained, income-constrained and employed, or ALICE, households in Arkansas. According to United for ALICE, about 47% of Arkansas households qualify as ALICE, with 16% of households having incomes below the federal poverty level. A new group is working together to make policy changes that could help ALICE homes. Kyle Kellums of Ozarks at Large spoke with representatives from two members of the cohort.
