Adelaide United have secured another exciting teenager on a long-term deal, signing South Australian Ryan White to a five-year deal with Isuzu UTE A-League.

White had a long-term association with the club, where he made his senior debut against Blacktown City in the Australian Cup in July. A product of the Para Hills Knights, White rose through the ranks of the FSA NTC program before returning to Para Hills and then Adelaide United in the A-League club’s youth team.

White scored 10 goals in 23 games for Adelaide NPL SA in 2024. He is the latest young player to sign a long-term contract with the club, joining Ethan Cox (2027), Austin Ayoubi (2026), Panagiotis Kikianis (2029) and Ethan Alagic (2029) in the club’s long-term commitments.

“It’s always been my dream to play for the Reds and I’m really excited to commit to my boyhood club,” White said.

“Adelaide United has a special meaning to me and my family and I can’t wait to continue working hard and giving everything I have to the club.”

Reds technical director Ernest Faber added: “Ryan embodies everything we look for in an Adelaide United player.” His work ethic, dedication and attitude both on and off the field are perfectly in line with the Club’s values.

“He grew up in our system and having a player with his DNA and history at the club makes this acquisition even more special.

“We are excited to continue his development as he progresses with us.”

Having missed the first round of the 2024-25 Isuzu UTE A-League season due to a bye, Adelaide United return to competitive action in the second round with a home clash against Central Coast Mariners at Coopers Stadium on Saturday 26 October.
