Kate Ritchie made a bold fashion statement as she left Sydney Airport over the weekend.

The Nova radio star, 46, wore $2,300 Chanel shearling sandals with a floral maxi dress and a black cardigan.

For accessories, the actress chose stylish wide-framed sunglasses and gold heart-shaped earrings.

Kate wore her brunette hair in a ponytail and accentuated her natural beauty with a light layer of nude makeup and lip gloss.

She appeared to be in good spirits as she wheeled her luggage through the busy terminal.

There are rumors that Kate could appear in an upcoming series of the SAS Australia reality show.

An industry insider told Woman’s Day magazine this week that Kate was being considered by Channel Seven producers for the grueling show, hosted by Ant Middleton.

“Kate is perfect for SAS as she has the backstory they are looking for. She went through divorce, arrest and many difficult times,” they told the publication.

Richie is trying to get his life back on track after being arrested and charged with drunk driving in August 2022.

Last year she announced her decision to seek professional help after going over the limit when she was stopped by police for a random breath test.

The former soap star said that after several personal problems in 2022, she decided it was time to seek help.

“It was a long time. I sought professional help, the help I needed. Sometimes enough is enough,” she said at the time.

“Life has challenged me over the past few years, but I am not alone in this. I was lucky that I was able to take the time.”

Ritchie tested at 0.06 – just above the legal limit – when she was stopped by police for a random breath test in her station wagon in Pagewood at 2:45 p.m. on Aug. 22, 2022.

She was fined $600, suspended from driving for three months and apologized on Instagram.

“I recently took a random breath test,” she wrote. “Although the level was low, the test came back positive.

“I made the wrong decision and I certainly understand the gravity of my actions. I’m truly sorry.”

In October 2022, Ritchie announced she was briefly stepping back from her radio show before it was revealed she was seeking treatment at an exclusive rehab clinic in Sydney.

In December that year, Daily Mail Australia reported that Ritchie had been admitted to an exclusive private psychiatric hospital in Sydney to help her recover from alcohol addiction.

In a statement at the time, she said the past year had been difficult and stressful, leading to an “unhealthy dependence on alcohol.”

The former Home and Away star tied the knot with her husband Stuart Webb in 2010, but the couple split nine years later in 2020.
