GREEN BAY (NBC26) — Early voting opens Tuesday as the November election remains two weeks away.

  • In many municipalities in the region, early absentee voting begins Tuesday morning.
  • Many polling places will open at either 7:30 or 8:30 am.

The November election is quickly approaching, and Tuesday will mark the first day of early in-person and absentee voting across the region.

Local municipality facilities will be open most of the day.

At Green Bay City Hall, voting will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day until this Friday.

Other Green Bay locations, such as Johnsonville-Tailgate and St. Bernard, will open for voting on Oct. 29.

De Pere, Allouez, Ashwaubenon and Hobart begin voting at 7:30 a.m.

In Appleton, voting this week runs through Friday, starting at 8 a.m.

Opening hours will change after this week throughout the region.

As voters prepare for the election campaign, some say they prefer the absentee voting method, while others still prefer to vote in person.
