BP’s head of LNG trading to step down at the end of the year

LONDON (Reuters) – BP’s head of liquefied natural gas (LNG) trading Jonty Shepherd will leave the company at the end of the year.

Shepard said in a post on LinkedIn that his departure after 17 years was announced Tuesday. It was unclear who would succeed him.

London-based BP is one of the world’s largest traders of LNG, which has become a key fuel in recent decades.

A BP spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
