The Cham Village Community Tourism Cooperative aims to preserve and promote the traditional weaving craft of the ethnic group.

Currently, the village’s artisans produce about 50 brocade products to serve tourists.

Immediately after the launch, the group invited tourists to visit and tour.

The Cham community tourism cooperative group has 12 members. The group is headed by Mr. Mohamad (owner of a Cham brocade factory in Chau Phong commune). The remaining members, each household, are associated with a product designed to serve tourists when they come to visit and travel to Cham village, such as Mr. Vach Ghia’s household (specializing in processing beef curry dishes); Mr. Hua Hoang Vu’s household (specializing in processing beef sausages)…

Cham Village Community Tourism Cooperative was established to restore and develop traditional craft villages, create a variety of tourism products, increase community income; preserving and promoting Cham culture and strengthening ties between communities. The benefits that the cooperative brings are that tourists will have the opportunity to experience a new and unique form of tourism, learning more deeply about the culture and people of Cham villages.

For the community, it strengthens cohesion, preserves and develops traditional culture, and improves economic life. For the locality, these activities aim to promote sustainable tourism development, create unique tourism products and attract tourists to An Giang.

The Cham Village Community Tourism Cooperative is a new model that helps preserve and promote the traditional cultural values ​​of the Cham people while bringing sustainable economic benefits to the local Cham community.
