IDF strikes Hezbollah weapons installations in Dahiyeh, south of Beirut

The Israeli air force struck Hezbollah weapons facilities located in Dahiyeh, south of Beirut, early Wednesday morning, the IDF said.

According to the Israeli military, terrorist weapons facilities were located next to civilian infrastructure.

The IDF noted that the strike was part of an effort to damage a Hezbollah weapons depot “located under residential buildings in central Beirut, putting the population of the area at risk.”

He also stressed that steps had been taken before the strikes to mitigate the damage to civilians.
