Tightening Australia Club standards on phones and leather jackets

Tough times at elite Australian club Melbourne, where Tupperwear salesman is new club president Charles Henry does its best to maintain falling standards.

“The Australian club is an escape from the modern world, and our rules and traditions protect that,” he recently told members of the William Street Men’s Club in an email. It’s a pity that some people insist on taking liberties, especially with regard to the dress code.
