Lee Joo Myung will play a young actress-turned-star in Song Joong Ki and Jung Woo Hee’s drama My Youth.

Twenty-Five, Twenty-One’s Lee Joo Myung has been confirmed as a cast member in the drama “MY YOUTH” alongside Song Joong Ki and Jung Woo Hee. Lee Joo Myung is known for her roles in projects such as “Like Flowers on the Sand,” “Pilot,” “Kairos” and many others.

Song Joong Ki is known for his roles in dramas such as Vincenzo and Descendants of the Sun. Jung Woo Hee has worked on critically acclaimed projects such as “Crying” and “Be Melodramatic.”

On October 23, it was confirmed that Lee Joo Myung will host “Youth” along with Song Joong Ki and Jung Woo Hee. She will play the role of Mo Tae Rin, who started out as a child actress and grew into a big star. She is controlled by Jung Woo Hee’s character, Son Jae Young. Her life suddenly changes when she is very unexpectedly reunited with her first high school crush.

Lee Joo Myung made her acting debut in 2017 with the film A Man at Heart. Over the years, she has participated in such popular projects as “Twenty Five”, “Twenty One”, “Missing: The Other Side”, “Hospital Playlist” and others.

MY YOUTH is an upcoming romantic melodrama, expected to premiere in 2025.

The story revolves around a man, Sunwoo Hae (played by Song Joong Ki), and a woman, Song Jae Young (played by Jung Woo Hee), who were just children when they first met. They reunite 15 years later as adults. But now their lives are completely different and they struggle in their own way.

The project was directed by Lee Sang Yeob, known for such hits as Yumi’s Cells, A Piece of Your Mind, Shopping King Louie and My Holo Love. The script was written by Park Shi Hyun. She also worked on the internationally popular series Run On.

Anticipation for this project is high as the talented cast teams up with the crew.
