Cranker protesters call attention to proposed Festival Plaza development

The grassroots Save the Cranker campaign has been successful in mobilizing Adelaide’s local music community to preserve cultural spaces that support the city’s emerging creative community.

Evan Moroney, who spearheaded Cranker’s campaign, is starting a petition opposing the construction of Festival Plaza in parkland.

Moroney told Sonia Feldhoff: “We strongly believe in intangible cultural heritage.”
