Azle ISD recognizes October as Principal’s Month.

Director of Communications Amanda Moore read a proclamation at the Oct. 21 board of trustees meeting declaring October “Principal Month” throughout the district. This month, Azle ISD joined schools across the country to recognize administrators.

“National Principal’s Month provides an opportunity for districts and communities to honor campus principals and recognize the key role they play in the lives of our students and staff,” Moore read aloud. “Principals have a deep responsibility for the education of Texas children and have a profound impact on both students and teachers every day. As leaders of their schools, they set the academic tone by setting ambitious goals, enforcing rigorous standards and implementing policies wisely and effectively, creating a culture of excellence in which students can realize their full potential. During National Principals Month, we are honored to recognize the great work of our principals and celebrate their accomplishments.”
