King Charles appeared distraught when he tripped during his final speech during a trip to Australia.

During King and Queen Camilla’s visit to Sydney’s Parramatta Park on the final day of their trip, the monarchs joined locals for a barbecue while enjoying suburban life.

In the midst of his interaction with the locals, the king gave a four-minute speech during which he apparently stumbled momentarily, leading to a sharp remark on his part.

King Charles was heard to say: “Wait, I took two pages of the damn thing.”

Returning to his speech, the monarch expressed his joy at being able to join the public and praised the setup as “an excellent choice for a public barbecue.”

“It’s a special pleasure to see and smell all the ‘best people’ here today from the vibrant and diverse community of Western Sydney,” the king added.

Continuing his speech further, King Charles stated: “Parramatta and the region around it have become one of the most vibrant businesses and culturally diverse communities in the world.”

He also praised the city’s cuisine and expressed gratitude to everyone who joined them for the barbecue.

King Charles and Queen Camilla’s trip to Australia ended on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
