FAIRFIELD CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA FOR TONIGHT (TUESDAY)

The Fairfield City Council will meet at City Hall tonight to hear about a potential $10 million investment from an unnamed developer in a new hotel west of Fairfield. The hotel is proposed to be built on city-owned property near Walmart, Mayor Gary Moore said. Rumors have circulated for months about the possibility of a new hotel opening in Fairfield.

In addition to discussing the hotel, the council will consider a proposal from Sunrise Sanitation, the city’s waste management provider, and is expected to select a bid for water filtration chemicals. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 18:00.
