‘WE’RE EXCITED’: HINCHINBROOK PUBLIC SCHOOL RECEIVES FUNDING FOR NEW SHELTER

Hinchinbrook Public Schools Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) has successfully secured a grant of $60,807 to build an all-weather shelter along the inner walkway at the Keppel Circuit entry gate.

Member for Liverpool, Charishma Kaliyanda, joined staff, students and members of the school community to celebrate the successful grant.

The project is one of several funded by Liverpool voters under the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership (CBP) program. The CBP program invests in infrastructure projects that produce positive social, environmental, and recreational outcomes.

The successful grant application at Hinchinbrook Public School follows months of work by P&C, including raising more than $15,000 through school initiatives.

The shelters will be built over the Christmas holidays and students, staff and parents will be able to take advantage of the new facilities when they return for the 2025 school year.
