Child claims he ‘knows in peace that he died on the Titanic’ after drawing eerie images of tragedy – Life

A teenager has claimed that in a previous life he died aboard the Titanic when it sank more than 100 years ago.

For most of his life, Wisconsin college student Jamie and his family were aware that he was one of the 1,517 people who died when the ship sank on April 15, 1912, specifically by its architect, Thomas Andrews.

His mom opened up about what life was like with the boy in her home when she spoke to the LMN crew for Ghost inside my baby.

She explained how she caught him watching the second half of the 1997 epic with his nanny. Titanicstarring Kate Winslet as Rose Dewitt Buketer and Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson.

She said: “The next day he started painting picture after picture of the Titanic. He probably did 50 paintings in the first two weeks.”

His drawings showed a ship with over 100 windows, and another showed all the levels that were inside.

“He knew the ship by heart. This cannot be known by watching the film. The film was actually more about a love story,” she added.

“Jamie was absolutely distraught that the people in the boiler room died first, as if it was his fault they were trapped.

“He started talking about the accident itself and how it shouldn’t have happened, that mistakes had been made, corners had been cut and the people in the boiler rooms shouldn’t have been trapped. He even cried because of it.”

Jamie himself appeared in the documentary to speak personally about this.

The 19-year-old said: “I’d like to think I was probably Thomas Andrews, just because of his personality and what he did is what I would have done.

“He surrendered to allow others to abandon ship.”

“It was a terrible tragedy in history and I take great peace knowing that I died on the Titanic.”

But some people online weren’t convinced when the film was uploaded to YouTube.

One user commented: “I would have believed this more if he started talking about Titanic BEFORE watching the second half of the movie.”

Although he obviously fits into one category that may be more common than you think: “He sounds like a regular kid from the Titanic.

“We all developed an interest at a very early age, we all drew loads of drawings of the Titanic and most of us at some point believed that we were the reincarnation of one of them on board.”

Responding, one person joked: “I can’t tell if this is being sarcastic or not? If yes, then well done. If not, I literally know people like Zero.”

“I’ve met thousands of people. “Zero of them drew a bunch of drawings of the Titanic as a child and thought they were reincarnated as a passenger.”
