Limited release of Cavalier Genève Black II Supremo scheduled for next month

Next month, Cavalier Genève will release a limited edition of the new Vitola for its Black II line.

The Cavalier Genève Black Series II Limited Release Supremo measures 4 3/4 x 58 inches in Robusto Gordo. It uses a modified version of the regular Black Series II blend, although the blend components remain the same: a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a binder and Nicaraguan fillers. Cavaliere says the regular mix uses filler leaves only from the Viso primer, while the new mix uses both ligero and viso. In theory, this should make this Vitola stronger than the regular version.

Each cigar has a suggested retail price of $14 and production is limited to 500 boxes of 15 cigars. The cigars are expected to go on sale in November.

This release is part of the Cavalier limited edition series, in which the company releases new vitolas for its regular production lines in a uniform manner. Last year, Cavalier released the 6 1/4″ x 48″ Vitola for its White Series line as part of its Limited Release series.
