Trailer “Strangers. Chapter 2″: A Bad Night Got Even Worse

At the end of Renny Harlin Strangers – Chapter 1we’re left wondering what’s next for Madelaine Petch’s Maya. Now in the recently released teaser trailer Strangers – Chapter 2Maya’s night seems to be getting worse and worse.

Chapter 2 takes place immediately after the events of the first film, and the synopsis simply reads: “The next chilling chapter Strangers franchise”.

This is the second one in the new one Strangers a trilogy that is supposed to be a reboot of Brian Bertino’s 2008 cult film. All three films are set over one night and will give viewers a better look into the world of the masked strangers themselves. And judging by the trailer Strangers – Chapter 2it will start in earnest with the second part.

Petsch returns for the second film, as well as Gabriel Basso and Ema Horvath. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Froy Gutierrez will appear due to his untimely end in the first film, but who knows what Harlin has up his sleeve.

Courtney Solomon, actor, Mark Canton, Christopher Milburn, Charlie Dombeck, Gary Ruskin and Alastair Burlingham produced the film from a script written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Friedland.

A specific release date has not yet been announced, but Lionsgate presents Strangers – Chapter 2 to cinemas in 2025.
