Power dropped five from the list, including a defender who had a year left on his contract

Port Adelaide have delisted five players today.

Quinton Narkle, Francis Evans, Tom Scully and Kyle Marshall were all not offered contracts through 2025, while Tom Clury was released with a year left on his contract.

Clury has played 124 AFL games and agreed to a delisting order to try to find a new AFL home, having not played at senior level since round three in 2023.

Coach Ken Hinckley thanked Clury for his efforts during his 12 seasons at the club.

“Tom came to Port Adelaide as part of my first draft as a coach,” Hinckley said in a statement.

“We saw him as a player who could give us defensive flexibility and he has done more of that in his 124-game career.

“There was never much fuss with Tom, and he didn’t seek everyone’s attention. He simply did his job and rarely let us down, often competing against much bigger strikers.

“We thank him for his time and wish him and his young family all the best for their future plans.”

Narkle played 13 AFL games in 2024 and Evans played 17 games last season.

Marshall and Scully both failed to make their AFL debuts in the Power.

List chief executive Jason Cripps thanked Narkle, Evans, Scully and Kyle Marshall for their efforts.

“Quinton and Frankie have made very positive contributions to our club at both AFL and SANFL level,” Cripps said.

“They provided us with good depth when we needed it and we are grateful for their time in Port Adelaide.

“Although Tom and Kyle did not get the opportunity to play AFL football, they have shown progress and commitment to the program over the past two years.

“All four players are good people and we wish them all the best for the future.”
