The 2023–24 season started off very promisingly as Wellington Phoenix ultimately failed to reach the finals series. But there was so much to like about Paul Temple’s side as they dream big this season.

They said goodbye to players like Mariana Speckmeier and Macy Frazier, but the Knicks have recruited well, bringing in Portuguese goaltender Carolina Vilao and Mebae Tanaka from Japan, and also announced the return of New Zealand international Gray Jail.
