Arson squad investigates bush fires

The Department of Fire and Emergency Management extinguished a bush fire in the area:
• Christmas Avenue, Littlemore Road and Elmore Place in Orelia;
• Gilmore Avenue and Brownell Crescent in the media;
• Harley Way in Medina;
• Seabrook Way and Staniford Way in Kwinana;
• Sulfur Road, Kwinana
• Westbrook Street in Calista; And
• Next to the golf course on Summerton Road, Calista.

The cause of these fires is being treated as suspicious and Arson Squad officers want to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious people, vehicles or activity near or at the above locations Sunday evening.

There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification and conviction of the arsonist.
