Shah’s big push towards co-operative sector

Shah noted that the products of Amul and NDDB are not adulterated as these organizations are owned by farmers.

Shah also paid tribute to Tribhuvandas Patel, praising his key role in establishing the NDDB and empowering India’s poor farmers, especially women. “The efforts of Tribhuvandas Patel laid the foundation for a movement that continues to uplift our farmers,”

The Home Minister highlighted the country’s dominance in the dairy sector, saying India is now the world’s largest milk producer with an annual production of 231 million tonnes, surpassing even the US. This remarkable growth is forecast to continue at 6% per annum, significantly higher than the global average of 2%.”
