Early migration brings butterfly abundance to South Australia

The butterfly migration began earlier this year as the colorful winged insects, especially white capers, continue to be spotted across South Africa as they migrate south towards Adelaide.

Chris Messenger from Bugs and Slugs told Sonia Feldhoff: “There’s just a huge influx of them this year, they’re everywhere!”

“They are very early this year,” she said. “I think this year will be the biggest year.”
