Luxury fashion retailer Harrolds collapses, owing  million

Harrolds, the luxury fashion department store with flagships in Sydney and Melbourne, has reportedly gone bust, owing local and global fashion brands millions of dollars.

Industry publication Ragtrader ASIC documents were reported on Tuesday to show that Harrolds, which sold brands including Gucci, Alexander McQueen and Australian brands Anna Quan and Song for the Mute, owed fashion brands millions and was in liquidation after nearly 40 years in business. SMB Advisory has been appointed as liquidator.
