Crash in Perth results in serious injuries

A serious collision in Perth County on Friday sent three people to hospital, two of them with serious injuries.

Perth District Police officers were called to the crash just before 3.20pm on Perth Line 55.

The OPP said two vehicles were involved in the collision – a passenger car and a farm vehicle. All three people in the car were taken to hospital, one via Air Ornge. Two people were seriously injured. OPP filed charges against farm equipment driver

Just before 3.20pm on Friday, OPP reported via “X”, formerly Twitter, that the Perth Line 55 was closed between Roads 179 and 180, and the Livingston Line was closed between Line 55 and Walton Road in West Perth due to an accident. .

Just before 5 p.m., police tweeted that all roads had reopened.
