Katikati Avocado Food and Wine Festival: Register for admission to Catchafire, Kokomo, Tiki Taane and White Chapel Jak.

The Kutch Katikati team is using staplers, drills and stepladders to educate the community about the upcoming Katikati Avocado Food and Wine Festival.

Katikati now has posters for the annual avo festival, which celebrates the best in food and wine, our status as the avocado capital, good atmosphere and great music.

The signs are at Tanners Point, the corner of Mulgan Street and Highway 2, Moore Park and the Chrome Cafe, with more planned for Waihi Beach and even Tauranga.

Last week, Kutch Katikati announced that reggae sensation Katchafire would be headlining the summer event. They will be joined in the line-up by Kokomo, Tiki Taane and White Chapel Jak.

In addition to the best performances, there is quality food and wine on offer, some of which is avocado-inspired, as well as cooking demonstrations. The family event also includes activities for children.
