North Perth Council discusses additional childcare facilities

North Perth could be home to more childcare centres.

Listowel Eastdale Public School is undergoing a nursery refurbishment which is expected to be completed next year.

The new space will accommodate 10 infants, 15 toddlers and 24 pre-school places, for a total of 49 childcare places with an opening date by the end of 2025.

A further development of St Mary’s childcare center in Listowel is also being expanded and is scheduled to open by the end of 2027.

Heading to council, the council it recommended approved the City of Stratford’s request for North Perth to become the licensed operator for both sites.
