Whether it’s installing solar panels on a $30 million home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs or crunching the numbers to convince a company to invest millions in a commercial solar and battery solution, energy entrepreneurs are cashing in on underserved segments of the market.

Australia has the world’s highest per capita rooftop solar penetration rate, but only 10 percent of Australia’s solar panels have been installed on commercial and industrial properties. Similarly, wealthy suburbs are less likely to have solar panels installed than homes in the suburban mortgage belt.
